Gilman USA receives ISO 14001 certification

GRAFTON, WI: Gilman USA is pleased to announce it has received ISO 14001 certification as of December 22, 1999. The ISO 14001 standard specifies requirements for establishing environmentally friendly policies, procedures and goals.

Gilman USA is committed to conducting its operations in a manner that protects the environment, conserves energy and uses natural resources wisely. To do this, the company has established an environmental management system (EMS) in accordance with the standards as set forth in the ISO 14001 specifications. Gilman USA and SKF have adopted the ISO 14001 standards as a proactive mechanism for achieving the goals of good corporate citizenship and compliance to state and federal regulations.
